I loved this game when I was young. Dam auto correct
Man I live bed all the time
I live in a Deluxe Edition bed. Live in it all the time.
Dice camo mattress
This is the game that made me truly fall in love with battlefield. So many memories.
It's always going to be -My- Battlefield. My Origin icon is still the walker tank. Was sad that we didn't get a 2143, but 2042 was my second pick.
Dude me too, I got into knife only servers and had a blast. By the time the game died I had amassed over 56,000 knife kills and was ranked 23rd in the world with knife kills. I miss it so much.
It was so much fun playing Revive 2142 a few years ago. So many full servers was not only nostalgic but a blast as well. Such a shame it died so quickly, relatively speaking (thanks EA).
Reclamation is still kicking but not at all hours and nothing near what Revive was: http://battlefield2142.co
I gave reclamation a try but the lack of players just sucks.
56000 and only 23rd? Man that game had some mad lads
For real, I put about 1000 hours into it. I saw some people with over 5000
1942 was my first, real online multiplayer. 2142 was a generational leap beyond BF2, with the unlocks, and the Titan mode was brilliant, never repeated.
Honestly the gameplay mechanics were at their peak.
Battlefield Vietnam was my fave. Tearing it up in a Huey while blasting Jefferson airplane never gets old
I loved the movable spawn tunnels, the music. I remember playing too much BFV, and dreaming I was going to ambush someone. I woke up, put my arm across my wife and said "Shhhhh! They are coming!!"
They tried in BF4, but I hope some kind of Titan mode returns to BF2042!
There's this "Love letter" game mode for veteran Battlefield players. Fingers crossed!
2042 seems like not futuristic enough for anti gravity space ships
When battlefield 1942 came out my jaw dropped. I just remember telling my online friends, "you can drive all the vehicles!!!"
But it's just not felt like battlefield for a while. Hardline, 1, and V just are missing something.
They definitely are!! I can’t really explain what they are missing but they just never gave me the “Battlefield” feeling that I got playing BF3 or BF4. Honestly tho, Hardline was closer to giving me that feeling than 1 or V were. I don’t know what it is but Battlefield 1 was the furthest from Battlefield out of all of them, Battlefield V wasn’t as bad but they ruined that game before it released.
Hardliners came out after I'd already been playing Payday 2 for 100 hours, it didn't really compare.
Vs misstep seems harder to define. The trailer was poor and the eagerness to jump into Battle Royale jaded many.
Damn please tell us how the specialists mechanic is
That’s game is 100 years in the future
good observation skills
Yeah boii. Sold my GameCube and cycled in the rain to pick it up on the release day. Good times c':
Their naming scheme already bamboozled you
BF4 = 4
BF1 = 5
BFV = 6
BF2042 = 7
And i'm not even counting Hardline.
You are not even counting 2142.
Yeah Hardline doesn’t count
Oldie but Goldie
i wanted to play this game, even had original disc but disc was damaged and i never played bf 2142
Legit only threw my copy out a month ago haha
Guess you weren't aware you could add it to origin. I have every bf game on there
I wasn't aware! But probs wouldn't play it again anyway :)
I loved the spec op game they had.
Are there still servers for this? I know BF2 is still going via private servers
Would be funny if you write a 0 over the 1 to very badly fake the title being BF 2042
