Mallow seems to have lost the hair on her eyelids and a little round her mouth. Eating and playing absolutely fine and is up to date on her seasonal jabs. What could cause this?

Lady_Jager

Maybe its her summer coat coming through and the old hair thinning down.

JumboSnausage

Edit. Worth mentioning that she is slept on top of. Biscuit will squish her face down while they cuddle and she regularly rubs herself aggressively on the vinyl floor in her cage when digging underneath it

It’s very odd where he’s losing hair, because my first thought was adrenal but not so sure with him. I’d honestly do a vet visit to check up on him to be safe. It can’t hurt to get him checked out in case it gets much worse. Hope your lil guy is okay!

as someone else said my first thought was also adrenal, but i’ve never personally seen it start in such an odd place ? it could be winter coat shedding or maybe she scratchng the area due to dry skin / allergies. i would 100% take her to a vet jic
