Ok tell me the ups and downs. After $2700 there has to be something you would have done different or is it perfect? I’m not knocking you. I just want to know what makes it worth it or not? By the way. That’s a sweet rifle.
The only thing I might have done different, but with its own con - is two stamp it with a short barrel and a detachable suppressor - but this was my first .22 and I never had any desire to own or shoot a .22 until I got this one complete, now it’s by far my favorite gun (and I have some rad guns) now I want a mark iv and a suppressor, so I’m going to have to wait for another stamp, but this barrel is so accurate, I’m not sure if anything will compare.
Have you sanded down the inside of the receiver yet? Mine wouldnt cycle reliably at all until I put in a tandemkross talon extractor AND sanded down the overspray within my receiver with some 400 grit sandpaper.
Let me know if you need any advice on how to make yours run smoother- I literally just had a TON of issues with mine and resolved it completely.
Anywhere on the inside of the receiver where the bolt comes into contact- so top and sides for sure until they are smooth. If your gun is new, I'm betting if you rubbed that area with a finger it would be a little rough from the overspray.
What type of ammo are you using? Smooth down the receiver, maybe get a new extractor, and test out with some CCI mini mags and I bet you will start to cycle again with zero issues.
i always felt the stock 1022 is good enough for most plinking jobs even at long distances.
for 2700 you could easily get a good 556, and lots of ammo for plinking away to glory, no?
That’s the least believable thing I’ve ever read in my life lol I’ve never once heard of a chipmunk problem and google isn’t helping your case. There are other much more effective ways to deal with them too then busting out the old lead injector.
No one said it's a shit rifle. It's a neat rig, but a precision gun with a 2 MOA dot it is not.
You might fool some of the noobs here, but not everyone.

You should definitely get a MKIV and a can https://i.imgur.com/U1dlpxU.jpg
Right on, appreciate it. I take this build as advice.
Which barrel is that? Also, did you have to modify the front end of the takedown to fit it?
This is a complete tactical solutions rifle
Cool ty
The green Magpul looks so good.
The Squirrel Slayer The Rabbit Reaper The Critter Gitter The Chipmunk Chiller The Takedown Tennis Ball Tagger The Olive Drab Can Stabber

What surfaces should you sand?

I tried a magazine of cci mini mags and it jammed just as much if not more than the federal automatch I normally use. I’ll try slicking the sucker up
2700??? 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫 why so costly?? 🤔
My stock 10/22 carbine with a scope is accurate enough to draw smileys on targets at that range, but it doesn't look this cool

Why not both?
Spoken like a true non-poor

How does having the optic so far forward work?
Like a dream
$2,700? impressive
The entire build, yeah.
Mine nearly bone stock 10/22 is quivering in fear. That's impressive though. Does it run like a dream?
Yep - and shoots so smooth. [50 yards no mag - I’m the weak link](https://i.imgur.com/hEZxKcI.jpg)
I enjoyed the chipmunk reference. My buddy calls chipmunks "timber tigers". Makes it sound more exotic lol
I hate shooting them but they’ll collapse my shed if they keep digging the sand out
Varmint is varmint. Could get a barn/shed cat.
I think mine totals around $2,100 with optic. Had it nearly a year and haven't shot it

Chipmunks are destructive to properly - they dig burrows that destroy foundations. I’m not happy about it myself, I love all animals

Sweet setup. And I like that people are copying my photo style.
Happy to see someone tune a TD and put the accuracy disparity rumors to rest.
What barrel is that?

My wife has the extended butt pad.
We know.
Do you like the trigger?
Wow 👌 did you build it from the ground up?
Pretty much
Well awesome rig 👌 enjoy that chipmunk reaper!
Hello fellow tacsol xring TD enjoyer. Mine’s GMG in the ODG Magpul stock, but with a Timney trigger and running the irons. Love it.
What mount did you use for the optic?
3/4" group at 50 yards with a 2 MOA fuzzy dot and a barrel known for its inaccuracy. LOL.
Shit rifle is shit. I know
