What would you choose if you have to remove in the world, Cancer/HIV or hunger?

but don't you think that in the future there will be a cure for cancer, wherein hunger it has been decades of solutions and yet cannot be solved
According also to the UN Goal 2:Zero Hunger "Current estimates are that nearly 690 million people are hungry, or 8.9 percent of the world population – up by 10 million people in one year and by nearly 60 million in five years." "If recent trends continue, the number of people affected by hunger will surpass 840 million by 2030, or 9.8 percent of the global population"
You’ve played Saints Row IV recently eh?
Yes but i also want to take seriously what may happen.
Then make stakes higher: the method you use to cure hunger end up containing highly carcinogenic substances so cancer rates and mortality rises, and the cure developed to cure cancer (and HIV I guess, they are different things technically) has a side effect of exponentially increasing the amount of nutrients the patients and resulting offspring require in order to survive, therefore increasing the amount of food required, resulting in greater food shortages and starvation rates.
Now it’s interesting.
Cancer. HIV is preventable and treatable.
Hunger has the potential to be solved
HIV is manageable in society and solving hunger is hypothetically possible if we get our shit together and as such doesn’t deserve to be lumped into the conversation with diseases.
I’ve lost people to cancer, it is devastatingly unpredictable for all involved, almost guaranteed fatal, treatment is iffy at best and can happen to literally anyone.
That's very sad to hear, but don't you think the possibility in the future that we are able to cure cancer and yet we cannot solve hunger.
Hunger, food should be something we have already anyway.
Because of our nature eventually every cell of our body will either die or become cancer cell. So big chance we will never find a way to beat it.
HIV isn't as bad as most people think if it's treated (which already isn't a problem in rich countries).
Last but not least - hunger. Yeah, it is a big problem, but slowly it's decreasing and in the end we will beat it.
