The voicemail he left on his daughter Ireland's phone when she was only a pre-adolecent little girl. It would be intra-familial psychological terrorism no matter what the age of the recipient but to unleash that tirade on a child is especially wicked. No wonder Ireland suffers panic attacks and anxiety to this day.

He can't even remember how old she is... How fucked is that? She was his only kid at the time and he can't even keep that straight. What a terrible fucking father.
You hit that nail on the head bigtime. He was at a low point and instead of seeking help he hooked up with a conartist and went along with her scam, he was always weak.
I think Alec mostly got a pass on his behavior for a couple of reasons. Almost all of his incidents were with reporters. While I think most of these outbursts were completely unwarranted, many people have a dim view of the paparazzi and feel that they somehow deserved what they got. Secondly, Alec has always had a level of protection from the media, which still played out in the grifting wife and even the Rust shooting. Many other celebrities would have been crucified for the same stuff. Do I really need to explain why he enjoys a softer ride from the media?
Well said! That last sentence has me thinking. Yes he should have been cancelled years ago. I feel most people have him a pass when he assaulted paparazzi because of the overall disdain of the profession, and what they did to other celebs.
In a roundabout way, if he hadn’t married Mami, none of this would have happened. He wouldnt have had to scrounge every penny making budget flicks at the age of 64, with 7 growing mouths to feed. He should be enjoying his golden years, traveling, doing whatever older actors do.
I always thought it was pathetic and comical that he hosted that game show- you’d never see Clooney, Pitt or De Niro do such a thing.
… and now he will get what he deserves because having all of this kids and a complete lunatic for a wife will not allow him to enjoy his later years … He’s got another maybe 20 years! Imagine!? If he wants to go out with good relationships with his plethora of kids he’s going to have to be involved … going to see them play sports, school plays and concerts, all of that kind of stuff! I can’t help but grin thinking of how miserable his last two decades are going to be 🤣
I just wrote in another post that I give him 10 years max… only 5 is also very likely. Great minds think alike! 😃
It was his choice not to have relaxing golden years, however many that is. No one made him have 7 more children. He & Silent Hache willingly made a plethora of test tube babies, are paying the facility’s storage fees, and every few months they have another one implanted into a surrogate.
His arrogance wants these 10,000 kids to be his legacy. Unfortunately, due to their total neglect bc neither parent is willing, able, capable or even WANTS to raise them, then, sadly, most if not all of them will likely turn out to be hot messes. 😞
I think Aleek is another Trump. Just like Trump really only cares about one child (Ivanka) & couldn’t care less about the others, Aleek only gives a shit about 1 of his: Carmen. I don’t think he hates the other kids bc I don’t think he knows them well enough to dislike them; I doubt he could describe any of his children in 5 accurate adjectives (except maybe Carmen)… they’re just there, around, until he escapes to his secret private apartment with his scotch stash.
NO way 20 more years & I don't believe he will ever be "hands on", why he pays so many nannies. He will sit behind his computer reminiscing his glory days and making posts trying to prove his intellect. There is no evidence he is even excited that he is about to be a grandfather.
It’s sad tho you know!? A nanny shouldn’t replace a father at graduation or be the one taking pictures before the prom! It also makes me smile thinking he’s sitting behind his computer reminiscing on the good ol’ days knowing it’s all over and he went out with a bang (pun intended) 🤣
My narc parents couldn’t be arsed to come to my high school graduation (“It’s so far! It’s so boring!”). I had my grandmother, though, who was thrilled.
We never had a nanny, and the only place we ever saw one in that place and time was in the ‘60s sitcom, “Nanny and the Professor.” I started babysitting for the neighbors’ kids at the age of *nine.* Who does that now? Nobody I’ve heard of.
My grandmother took care of me workdays from birth to age two, ensuring that I didn’t become a female Ted Bundy under my parents’ sub-par treatment. I was delighted to have her at my high school graduation.
She had been the one standing on the porch, waving both college-acceptance letters at me, and jumping up and down like a little girl.
Well, he gets around that last requirement by not having the kids do anything that he would have to get involved in. I've never seen a single post of them playing organized sports, acting in school plays or doing anything other than holding, and trashing, expensive instruments. They have to be the most socially stunted kids ever.
I am pretty sure Hillary is in a treatment facility for mental exhaustion / ED / addiction or so and hence, her silence. She does have A LOT going on with that husband alone (the shooting, trial, etc.) on top of her own problems.
this might be a wild opinion, but i think he has deep roots in the “hollywood good ol boys club” which may include ties to pedophilia and big names have stepped in and stopped baldwin from getting cancelled for DECADES. he has been spewing racist, homophobic, abusive words and physically attacking people for a REALLY LONG TIME. if one bad joke in the 80s can get a comedian cancelled, then theres a really good reason why baldwin has still been booked and blessed all these years. maybe a reckoning is finally coming (note: im not QA, im a polite democrat who is starting to put dos and dos together)
I wouldn't discount that out of hand. He certainly seems very close to Woody Allen and James Toback and if the company he keeps is reflective of his character then it doesn't really reflect well on him.
I was young when AB’s horrifyingly abusive voicemail to his daughter was exposed. That was it for me - never watched 30 Rock, cringed during his scenes in Pearl Harbor and The Departed, completely ignored him and his weird bubble of aggressive arrogance until the shooting investigation and criminal charge. I feel like he’s unstable and has seemed to cycle in and out of fits of rage for years, and that’s not a thing we as a society should be glorifying. Completely agree with your assessment that he was “an accident waiting to happen.” It’s clear he has very little, if any, control over himself.
My kids were young enough that I was once again relieved that my alcoholic narc parents couldn’t endanger them. I wouldn’t have trusted them around a glass corner.
Right? That was it for me too. He was tarnished and from that point on when I would see he was in a show or movie, I always said, “ehh.. remember that VM? It was vile! I can’t separate that person. I’m not buying what he’s selling.” He always remained that asshole who disrespected his child.
I ignored him until Griftmas. I did watch a couple SNL episodes to see what the hype was about, and I thought he did a great job. I mean, it’s no wonder he was great. Trump and Baldwin are one in the same, but they just go about it a bit differently. I will say I did find griftmas a little shocking, but that was before I knew anything about Hillz, or Alec, really.
Rust did this guy in, but it really didn’t have to escalate the that level. Had he only been cancelled after that VM, he would still be miserable, but he’d be in a lot less miserable because he wouldn’t have the opportunity.
Same! After his horrible voicemail to Ireland I avoided anything with him it it until “It’s Complicated.” I watched it because of Meryl Streep, after it went to HBO. What he did to his child broke my heart as my daughter is the same age. I couldn’t imagine hurting a little girl like that. He’s a disgusting pig & I wouldn’t spend $1 towards anything he’s involved in.
At first I felt horrible for AB that such a tragedy could happen on set, but then it became clear there was a lack of Hollywood people that publicly stood behind him. Crickets. Then A++ list George Clooney publicly stated that on set protocols would have to have been overlooked and basically implied that the Rust production sounded like amateur hour. His public disgust was enlightening and I realized that Alec Baldwin was not respected by his peers due to a history of bad behaviour.
Once AB did that cringe IG live with Woody Allen, it was crystal clear that AB is a social pariah. You don’t have his name recognition and no friends unless you are a wild asshole. I do not feel sorry for him. And I do not feel sorry for his smug nobody of a wife who thinks she won some kind of prize by marrying him. They are horrible.
I felt the same way as you did.
I actually felt incredibly bad for him when this happened. Then I found this group. Then I learned of how atrocious his behavior really was over the years.
Then when he was with the detectives trying to be charming with them. Yet insinuating his wife was from or grew up in Spain.
I thought wow he really is delusional. A woman lost her life.
He was the producer. He is still pretending or lying, so if he lies about that and he's an actor what else is he capable of? That whole Woody Allen podcast. Christ on a bike.
Him pretending to pitch himself to portray King Charles. After the Queen died.
Even his posts over the last two nights have been incredibly eye-opening.
Thanks for posting this OP it just proves he's gotten away with so much for so long. 👍🚩
“Still, when I think of the road [they’ve] traveled on
I wonder what’s gone wrong
I can’t help it, I wonder
What’s gone wrong…”

AB & WA both make me sick. Very different in some ways but the same in that they’ve gotten away with way too much for way too long and still have their fanatic sycophants who will follow them off a cliff. There’s no way I can listen to the podcast you mention. Can you give me a nutshell version? Curious as to how their narc minds work when together. Thank you, pepino!
I didn't listen to the podcast but I was here for the play-by-play that day. The biggest takeaway was they had audio problems and Alec had a dog that was barking and he was yelling for Leonetta.
One of the things that I have found interesting are some of the pictures that Alec has chosen to post about his children and his weird relationship with WA. 🚩🫶😬
The two of them also engaged in a lot of all-male, crotchety, old-fart nostalgia for Great Shows Watched on Broadway, Great Films by Marty Scorsese, Showing on Wide Screens, or Directed by Orson Welles and Francois Truffaut, Reading Super Books Like Your Latest, Woody…
Bhahhh, I dunno if I’ll bother making more movies, Woody grouses. Maybe I’ll just write… He begins to shout for his assistant, and the picture cuts off. Both men appear distinctly rattled when it returns. Alec turns around, treats us to a panoramic view of his wide, wide butt. Dama and Gitana yap, and Alec shouts, “LEONETTA! LOS PERROS! BASTA!”
Did I miss anything?
Well said. Kudos to George Clooney for speaking up for Halyna, as I saw it. He didn't just keep schtum like the unwritten rule says about "the talent" sticking together. He spoke up for the crew and for Halyna and he centred her tragic death not Alec's "innocence".
Funny you should say his peers don't respect him. I was musing last night and thought "I've never heard anyone have a good word to say about him and that says a lot about his character."
I can never see Mickey Rourke in the same light after he waded in to defend Alec's honour as though he were the victim in this tragedy. Silly man.
When Sean Penn won the Best Actor Oscar in 2008 for “Milk,” he swatted away his then-wife, Robin Wriggt Penn, hustled to the microphone, and graciously thanked his fellow nominees.
Last came Mickey Rourke for “The Wrestler,” and he professionally erased a momentary surge of pure disappointment from his surgically rearranged face and assumed a pleasant, detached expression. For a moment I felt for him. Perhaps as Alec did when he was nominated for BSA for “The Cooler” in 2003, maybe Mickey thought that -*this* would be his year. He’d be on top. Truly on top.
But tonight made two awards for Sean, none for Mickey *or* Alec. If the obituary writers filing their copy in advance remembered, the lede would include the fact that they were Oscar-nominated, but not Oscar-winning.
*Fck.*
There are photos of Alec Baldwin and Katie Couric being very chummy at a fussy affair in 2015 or so. They clearly like each other -- they are laughing, and holding each other's arms, they have a sparkle in their eyes as they enjoy each other's company. But she said nada after the Rust incident. I keep thinking about how close they appeared to be in those photographs and we know AB will ask anyone to promote his wife. So the mere fact that AB has a relationship with Katie Couric, and couldn't garner any sympathy from her says a lot about how she feels about the incident. And that Katie couldn't or wouldn't help Hilary get a career says a lot about Hilarry. I think it says that Katie didn't see enough work ethic and the lack of Q score that Larry has means she is certifiably unlikable. Like there is sufficient data to prove she cannot carry a show -- and the daytime universe of producers will give ANYONE a show. So when Larry talks about hearing from ALLLLL of her community -- it means just a few sycophants of psychologically unwell people, like herself, who are delusional about what she offers. And that Alec Baldwin sees Hilary as the healthiest emotional person he knows? Well, that's just awful for the 7 small humans he has co-created with her because she's not well. Yuck. I loathe these two. I hope the kiddos get really good therapists to help them survive their narc parents.
That was just sad. Hopefully someone in the Baldweeeen camp put a stop to that. What an awful person HTB is to use someone who appeared to be a vulnerable adult as a public defender. Shameful.
He has ridden roughshod over people for decades.
It strikes me that he is what used to be called a megalomaniac. Now the preferred term is narcissist but I think megalomaniac fits him to a t.
That sounds fascinating! If you’re interested, journalist Seymour Hersch just published on his substack

Thanks so much! It's fascinating to think about what goes on behind the scenes in the corridors of power. I just finished Gloria Steinem's biography of Marilyn Monroe the other day and she briefly discusses Marilyn's affairs with Jack and Bobby and the rumoured involvement of the CIA in Marilyn's death.
I keep an open mind about things now that I would previously have discounted as conspiracy theories when I was younger.
I really enjoyed what I've listened to so far! I did a cursory Google search before I chose it and I was really impressed by the discourse around it.
And I really enjoyed Helter Skelter so I was intrigued to read more about the machinations behind the prosecutor Bugliosi during the trial!
That wAs a time. “The ‘Sixties ended on August 8, 1969,” pronounced Joan Didion, who got the news of the murders in a phone call from Natalie Wood, while sitting in the shallow end of my sister-in-law’s pool in Beverly Hills. After the murders, I remember that*nobody was surprised.*”
>After that shockingly emotionally and psychologically abusive tirade of vitriol to his then eleven year old daughter? Wait, what did I miss?

Every instance, including the shooting, he acted out of impulse. Looking back, it’s not shocking how any of this all played out.
Well said! That last sentence has me thinking. Yes he should have been cancelled years ago. I feel most people have him a pass when he assaulted paparazzi because of the overall disdain of the profession, and what they did to other celebs. Katie had attended at least one dinner party at Jeffrey Epstein’s vast Manhattan residence. Was Alec ever there along with Katie?
The only people who know are the other people at that dinner. Ghislaine Maxwell, for one. Maybe she'll publish a tell-all from prison.
Yes. Great observation. His peers' silence can also speak volumes. And he had very few vocal supporters, tbf.
“— it means just a few sycophants of psychologically unwell people,…” Anyone remember Ashley from Kentucky🥴

Heard about this years ago from a mom whose kids attended the same school as Carmen. Alec was persona non-grata after being an asshole to a parent.
That majes me sad for his kids. 😢
He has ridden roughshod over people for decades. It strikes me that he is what used to be called a megalomaniac. Now the preferred term is narcissist but I think megalomaniac fits him to a t.
