Export it into a higher resolution.

davep1970

if you mean dpi (or ppi) that's not relevant for online use. do you mean e.g. 220 x 220?

newecreator

I meant exporting it to a higher resolution which usually, you can just change the DPI or the actual height or width to a higher number.

MohamedMalick03

Open 'Advanced' drop down in 'Export' dialog box & try giving pHdpi value 96 to 300 and then export & check the image.

davep1970

it's only pxiel dimensions that matter i.e. 110 x 110, if you need to change the dpi to increase the pixel dimenions that's all you're doing unless you're printing it. an image of 110 px square at 96dpi is exactly the same quality as 110 px square image at 300 dpi (really it's ppi - pixexl per inch)

MohamedMalick03

Yeah, I know. PPI for digital & DPI for printing. But I just mentioned this method as an option to try.

davep1970

ok - just wanted to make it clear to the OP and others :) Hopefully they get it sorted. the other problem is that instagram compresses it so all you can do it upload the clearest image at the correct size then cross your fingers because after that it's out of your control

davep1970

what are you exporting as? and is it 110 x 110?

ThatAdministration15

I tried jpg and png to see if it made a difference
