There is no more rank decay but your rank does change (hidden) after every match so if for example you are on 14 losses and don't wanna play coz you will likely rank down, you have already ranked down it's just waiting for the 5 wins or 15 losses to update you on it. So if that has occurred you may still drop in rank when the new season starts at it will update your rank to whatever the current hidden rank is.
