My begonia won’t grow that much and the edges getting crispier, I water when the soil gets dry on the top and spray the air once a day/2 days ( I have a small humidifier on the table beneath it I turn on every day but it won’t reach, its for the other plants on the table) what could be it problem?

It could be a few things but based on the info chances are high that its humidity. Misting now and then won't really do much as its just going to drop quickly and if the mist is wetting the leaves that may cause even more issues. I'd recommend not hanging it for now and having it with the other plants around the humidifier. Maybe even set up a tray of stones with water in it. Begonias tend to do better around other plants as they will create their own little pocket of humidity. I would not recommend hanging unless the room is humid enough already. Hope that helps :)

Thank you! I’ll get it down with the others🙏

I avoid spraying Begonias , have Heard- you should do this to prevent powdery mildew !

I’d also second that misting begonias is not good as they are super suspect to bacterial and fungal problems. If it’s not the humidity i’d let the soil dry ALMOST completely before you resume watering and see if the issue is overwatering even better pull it out and check the roots if you can.

Awesome thank you for the help I’ll try to check the roots and won’t mist near it

Reading through these comments and wanted to ask: so I take all my humidity loving plants with me to the shower and it gets hot and misty in there. Should I not put any of my begonias in there then?

poilane

I mean not in the shower itself but just in the bathroom lol

BlossomingBeelz

I've always been a bit skeptical of the whole bringing your plants into the shower thing. It's not a replacement for good humidity. They need it continually, not in half hour spurts.

poilane

No I also use a humidifier almost daily as well and keep my plants misted (the ones that can tolerate it) as well as keeping them close together for added humidity! I just add some shower humidity for some warmer air humidity and some of the plants seem to love that extra burst of humidity. Only doing the shower thing isn’t enough, of course, but I find it useful as a supplemental thing. I was just curious if begonias can handle it. I know my Begonia Rex apparently doesn’t like to get its leaves wet so I try to keep it away from wet humidity but keep it within reasonable distance of my humidifier.

poilane

I guess my question was just whether begonias can tolerate water on their leaves or not, or whether it depends on the type of begonia.

BlossomingBeelz

No, it’s a bad idea. Especially if you don’t have good airflow.

I mist my cane begonia daily and angel wing daily and it's super healthy. Mine tolerates it and even seems to like it.

koolingboy

How much light it is getting?

jessi-_-i

Medium low light

Update- I took it out of the soil finding root rot 🙃 I cut out the roots put in water and hope it’ll root again
