So here is the deal...
I am on the final leg of my pentagon challenge, and i got offered the job at 'Zebra' the interview didn't mention a transfer budget and told me the wage budget would be 6 million...
On closer inspection the absolute fuckwits who came before me have decided to hand out 750k contracts out for fun :( now i can't off load these players as no one will pay their wages.
What would you do in my shoes
Horrendous mismanagement…
Finally moved someone on to save some wages and I get an inbox saying a gash player from the academy is now professional on 22k per week. Had 6 of these so far
Not sure I’ve seen a wage bill that high. The fact you weren’t involved is crazy. One of the first things I do before I accept a job is look at the highest earners, average age, contract status etc so I know what I’m getting into. This is huge red flags and I’d prob resign as shipping them out would be almost impossible unless you pay half their wages. Depends what your version of fun is.
My own fault for not checking wages ect before taking the job. But now I am curious to see how it will play out over the season losing 45-50 million per month.
As far as I can see these players have had these wages for at least the season before I took over and the bank balance looked good when I got here so what will happen come end of the season 🤔
Hello! You have made the mistake of writing "ect" instead of "etc."
"Ect" is a common misspelling of "etc," an abbreviated form of the Latin phrase "et cetera." Other abbreviated forms are **etc.**, **&c.**, **&c**, and **et cet.** The Latin translates as "et" to "and" + "cetera" to "the rest;" a literal translation to "and the rest" is the easiest way to remember how to use the phrase.

Can you check status of ownerships? Chances are you’ll get in a terrible financial status which would force FM to initiate a takeover to recover it.
It would be a good challenge but it’s so annoying getting rid of high earners especially when no one really wants them.
Not as far as i can see.
I have tried to offer some of the better players reduced contracts and they are happy to take a cut to 500k per week if i put a clause in to give them a pay rise to 800k after playing 20 league games...my guess is this is how it happened in the first place
Resign and move on...

If you have excess players in a position, sell them by paying half their wages.
Issue number one…relatively small squad size Issue number two…nothing in the dev centre coming through
11m wages per week wtf how do you even get it that high

Was really underwhelmed until I realized the salaries were per week 😬

I’ve had loads of offers for loans and the teams only wanting to pay 10%, absolutely no point in letting them go on loan at that price
Was there or is there a tycoon owner? I’ve never seen so many wages at those levels. Most with at least two years left.
