i would argue that all forests are vertical. at least, the ones that haven’t been destroyed yet

[deleted]

Except for these ones: https://www.discovertasmania.com.au/about/articles/horizontal-scrub I've heard stories/wives tales of hikers bushwalking and dropping through the dense thicket to disappear forever. Gotta love nature...

holyanallemon

Vertical forest? Like a mountain or some shit

DoughboyLA

Vertical forest? You mean a building with a lot of potted plants?

hipsiguy

That's all I see

Carlo_Montorsi

Oh well I’m italian and I had no idea this existed

a_pinch_of_sarcasm

I can't see the forest for the trees.

voxtel

I love Milan

CorrectlyDismal

Not a forest.

Ythou6

Wouldn’t this just be horrible to maintain considering how trees love spreading there roots to places you don’t want them. Like lifting up the cement on a side walk etc.

lorem

It is probably a very expensive building in terms of maintenance cost. That said, it was completed 6 years ago and it's still beautiful today, so maintenance is obviously feasible.

Zen022

Not just that, but the creator of this building said that have been a lot of infestation from insects of every genre

marmata75

It is! Literally every time I go nearby, I see people hanging to do maintenance! https://images.app.goo.gl/RFNR5rxxJBaPvfkJ8

Mewmow23

Dude we need to get to the first gate

Rivet22

Next: World’s first vertical forest fire.

Quicklyquigly

Why would they paint in brown? No thanks.
