Hey guys, I'm gonna be posting my third song from my EP tomorrow. So today is the last day I'm promoting Starlight. Excited!
**Returning All Feedback!**
[https://soundcloud.com/onitaro/starlight-prod-abe](https://soundcloud.com/onitaro/starlight-prod-abe)
This is fuckin sick man. Honestly think it could use more polishing in terms of mixing but not much, this is pretty damn good. Solid writing, performance and you're enjoyable to listen to, enthusiastic and got good energy. Thumbs up.
Awesome. Not sure if this is what you’re going for, but I get heavy Kanye vibes with both the beat and the vocal style. I like it a lot. Best of luck with your ep. I’ll be giving it a listen for sure.
This is my second beat that I have made since teaching myself. I’m looking for constructive criticism because I’m not expecting it to be good, and I want to improve.
https://on.soundcloud.com/yyG2ie3uQNncBKBR8
you picked an up beat an it sound like your passion backing it on the vocal. Sound like some ol back pack rap. Nice flows and confidence. Chorus was kind of lacking imo, keep rocking cuz
heres something un poco different

Returning all feedback.
You probably know what to expect from me at this point.
Beeeeeat.
If you've never seen "Demon of Steel: Battle of the Great Demon Beasts", don't.
I've cut a 2 hour film into the 2 minutes that didn't suck. Just for you.
https://youtu.be/Lkrdi11KyZw
I expect quality u/singingly that's what I expect ;)
\~0:40 is siick I love it and pretty aggressive tone through the track. Only thing I will nitpick here is the bite of the snare. It feels either a bit harsh or loud one of the too. Not trying to tell you what to do it's ultimately your call because I'm the type of person whose car has bass/treble turned downed xD, so I might not be the best judge of EQ.
Can I get a spin on this remix? I'm back into the practice phase doing remixes and practicing finger drumming alongside my Breakbeat Bible to skill up instead of just grind. Enjoy!
Thank you.
Lol, that's fair. I think someone
Ooh. hell yeah. What's the Breakbeat Bible?
If mine wasn't so short, too, I'd complain that yours was kind of short.
It was dope though. Not my usual style--kind of house/EDM vibes--but I really liked it.
The way you chopped and interwove the vocals throughout the beat felt really good.
Def looking forward to your next track I hear.
heh short songs might be the way of the future though aha that's my excuse. I have a longer version, but the other unshown part was a bit more rough I didn't feel comfortable sharing.
The breakbeat bible is sick it's the "fundamentals of breakbeat drumming as applied to hip-hop", an epic collection of exercises to practice breakbeat drumming. It's normally for a regular kit, but I'm now applying it to finger drumming. It's technical, but I'm finding it helps break loose from playing the same way.
I'm also looking forward to more good audio, video, beats from ya. Keep up the good work!
Has the algorithm on YouTube changed recently It feels like I just started getting some views last month, and suddenly everything just dipped, and now I came from 250 to 20 views? I think that my stuff got better, so I'm just a bit confused. I'm uploading once weekly - is that too little to get some traction?
This is one of my latest ones:
Appreciate some wisdom!
These algorithms are always so random! I really like how tribal this melody and style feels. I notice a bit of a NOLA Bounce influence as well as maybe some Afrobeat. The electronic style synth is really working well here while those piano strikes really putting in the overtime! The mood on this is jubilant and feels like a houseparty with some new friends. The mix is clean, it felt a bit muddy at first but it's really sounding good the more I listen. Detailed layered instrumentation!!
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
Thanks man - appreciate the feedback.
I listened to Blackjack Aces - super catchy hook, nice! I like the minimalist synth throughout the track - it would be cool to switch it up a bit in the hook part - perhaps add a different drum pattern, and take out some elements so the vocal hook can hit harder! That's just something I would consider. But cool track you got there!
The vocal production is really sick! It’s clear, stands out and really grabs your attention as a listener! I feel like the low end doesn’t really punch through the mix though, what’s there in that region is awesome, abit too in the backdrop
You always have these infectious cadences on your songs and I love it man.
I'm listening to this in some work headphones, so it might not be applicable but I feel like the high ends of the song were a little too quiet in comparison to the rest of the track, but that's just personal preference really. Everything else sounded great!
Here's my track as well if you feel like giving feedback!
talkyotalk off a collab project I dropped this past Friday.
i wasn't really feeling the beat but you make it work. I like how you ride this one you stay in the groove on the verses. The chorus is prolly the weakest part for me but more so cuz it could use an effect or pitch shift or sum to keep it live n break it up but its not wack over all its a chill track man. The chorus grew on me by the end but still would want sum extra seasoning on it. good work man fuccs with it
Like the beat and you did a good job keeping it simple to focus on vocals while not sounding dry. Love the guitar layer as well! Mix sounds solid on my headphones too.
This was dope. Cool sounding beat, love whatever instrument/sound that is your using. Sounds like a guitar but with some sort of effect on it. And the twista verse over it is dope, nice mixing on here as well it all sounds clean.
Here’s my latest, more alternative than hiphop but got more on the way: https://open.spotify.com/track/0KFybmJkVxe7YzTmwL1VYr?si=nUAv_MjqS4qZSZYqGKva3w
Hard!! Love seeing footage from The Rap City Basement. This beat fits well with the old-school early 2000s style it has that soulful energy and the fact that the vocals feel extremely clear makes this track 2x better. I definitely wish it went longer but I understand you were kinda constrained by the source. Felt like it was hitting its stride by the time it ends. Really impressed with how it feels contemporary yet rooted in the early 2000s sound
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
yooo damn this heat, kinda had a video game vibe with those notes sounding rlly cool and retro but it still has a kinda gothic atmosphere or sumn lol HEAT bro bless up🔥🙌🙏🏾🇯🇲
great beat! my only small critique would be that the intro, being rather upbeat tonally and in tempo, did not set my ears up for the slower tempo body. I like how it picks up at 1:09.
the right rapper would kill that transition, though
Horns on this feel very triumphant like an outro to a breakthrough artists debut album if that makes sense. Reminds me a lot of J Cole's early music when he was more introspective and more talking about his come up. The 808 pattern in particular on this goes really hard. It combines the party mood with something a tad more "epic". Feels like Baby Keem would absolutely murder this. This beat is a great representation of what "stadium-sound" means. The sound was constantly innovating too, like that you didn't rest on your laurels here. Phenomenal work!!
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
Thank you so much for the phenomenal feedback!
Great delivery on your song. Wasnt a huge fan of the beat, some elements got a little repetitive. But overall i think your style and vocals fit well on it and it was mixed well!
Spent way too long composing and chopping samples on this lol. Like 75 individual tracks not including drums all in all 😬 Lemme know what you think and I sincerely appreciate all the feedback in this group thus far. Yall are awesome🙏
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-jxsAT44U8
This feels like a band put it together, the heavy instrumentation feels well layered. The beat is very emotive, it says a lot with no words. I couldn't imagine a rapper over this track, but something more akin to jazzy funk I could definitely see. My one critique is that I think a switch-up, maybe even the form of a bridge, would've really captivated me some more. I was impressed with how details the melodies were but towards the end I was looking for a twist to add excitement
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
Man all those intricate background layers are really cool and add a lot to this. It’s got a really nice, full, atmospheric feel. Really love all the diff patterns you have going on, what a dynamic beat. Sounds great just on its own. Really nice work man!
Here’s my latest, it’s more alternative than anything but got more hip hop coming soon: https://open.spotify.com/track/0KFybmJkVxe7YzTmwL1VYr?si=nUAv_MjqS4qZSZYqGKva3w
if you want to keep going with the mixes, would recommend trying to get on a local community radio station. it will help your reach and abilities. great mix btw
also, 'themed' mixes go far, e.g. videogame OSTs. if you have a good radio personality (unlike me lol) you could also do commentary.
chill tape, my fav was still struggling with B.I.G, them drums was cold an feel like you fit his tone well. temptation was cool untill the singing was kinda off for me but Pac spitting was on point. Cool production man
hows this sound?
https://soundcloud.com/mc\_r3b3l/rrqueen-prod-monkey-d
This was cool. i definitely liked the beat, but i felt the flow was a little off at times. However, I do believe if you get the flow a little tighter, i think this track can be stronger
Thanks for your feedback
No problem, but if you are interested, because i don't want to give feedback, with no real solution, i actually want to help artists get better if i can Here's a video that i think could help you with the flow
https://youtu.be/_jzNOqTBSqA
did a fun remix. looking for feedback specifically on the mix cause thats where i feel i struggle. the flp started out as an upbeat happy piano/guitar beat and kinda devolved after i added some filler vocals. dont ask me why i used this particular song.
returning feedback
[https://soundcloud.com/koaris/boys-a-liar-pt-2](https://soundcloud.com/koaris/boys-a-liar-pt-2)
I really liked this actually. I felt like the pinkpantheress vocals were a bit muddy and one dimensional but I’m not sure if that’s just from the vocal itself or the way you mixed it. Ice spice vocals sounded clear and more dynamic. I liked both tho. Nice work!
Here’s my latest, it’s more alternative/indie than anything, but got more hiphop coming soon: https://open.spotify.com/track/0KFybmJkVxe7YzTmwL1VYr?si=nUAv_MjqS4qZSZYqGKva3w
This is a great remix of the track, especially the 808s that you used. It has that general pop aesthetic while feeling just a bit "edgier" than the original and making something that feels more rooted in modern music rather than early 2000s British pop. I really like the autotuned aesthetic that you put on the chorus, it makes it feel more like a chorus than just an additional part of the song if that makes sense. Good remix, it feels more R&B influenced
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
I like your vocals a lot. I feel like the beat could be a bit more aggressive. I made a quick example of what I would type of beat I hear them on.
https://soundcloud.com/koaris/idea
Also this is just my opinion not tryna derail what image you are trying to create in your music.
The singing sections are amazing! And then when those harps come in and it just feels like a sweet serenade, it hooks me in. Believe it or not, I could hear Drake or Kendrick on this. It has a ton of mainstream appeal and does jazzy hip-hop really well. I think that bass should've been one-octave lower in my honest opinion but I'm really impressed with what you have going. The choppy drum intro and then choppiness at the outro was a nice way to tie the whole thing together. This feels like a more melancholy version of No More Parties In LA
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
hi man, sorry for replying so late. I remember leaving a review for your last track "Seventh Ward". About the new track: I really liked the mixing of the vocals (I did not expect such a quality from an independent artist). The beat is quite simple, but with a catchy melody. In places it seemed that the presentation was monotonous, but the change of rhythm in the chorus gave liveliness to the track. In general, good work and implementation at the level!
Well done, great sample and great structure. I really don't like type beat videos, I think you have the general idea about beatmaking to develop your own style.
Thank you! Basically, beatmakers use someone else's type beats in the title so that people can find their work, not to imitate the style of some artist. Without these markers, people simply won't find your beats.
hey, I really liked this beat. I think it’s super dreamy and it’s a dope sample flip. I really like how you used the chops, and the verse/chorus sections have nice difference. Clean mix, no criticisms
Here’s my recent https://on.soundcloud.com/TZhuaGvMyeYq9tvH9
Hi dude. About "Consequence", quite a confident single. Pleasant trap beat and delivered voice. The only thing is that despite having a nice enough flow, the track lacks a bit of variety as there is no overt chorus. I would advise you to do different rhythm patterns in verses, as Eminem often does (for example, in "Lucky You" from 2:50 to 3:08 or in "Last One Standing" from 3:07 to 3:20, the rhythm scheme emphasizes rhymes in text and allows the listener to completely immerse themselves in the narrative and not get tired of listening to the track). Other than that, a solid release. Also I went to your profile to listen to some of your work: "Caskets" is awesome, I have no words!
i think the sample is too similiar to the og i would shift the pitch up an like if you could cut it up to be able to hear diff parts play through the verse. The melodies in this sound like there fighting eachother at times. I like that guitar you bring in i like a lot in here but it sounds like too much at times for me. i see what your trying to do and its solid man keep working.
how this? bop or nahhhh?
0:25 - 0:37 it would be cool to make the vocals bigger, like the chorus on Mac Miller's "Self Care"
2:06-2:08 is not well sung, I would re-record or auto-tune a little
I also noticed that the sounds of the letter "c" are pronounced in the track, this is more pronounced at 2:32-2:43. I would advise you to pay attention to this and work on mixing.
And so, a good track, there are no complaints about the pitch and beat.
Idk if ill work on this one any more ive been on it for too long and already have other tracks im making but i do appreciate all your notes and will try to improve for my next release. Thank you for listening really.
Yo this is really interesting, i got like the mid 2000 vibe from the vocal sample and then the drums were like kinda oldschool feelin! The kick didnt completely work for me, im not sure if it was the sound was too hard or if it was too fast tempo. Overall pretty cool though!
heres mine: https://on.soundcloud.com/QmYR6
Thanks! I like your song, there is something relaxing about the melody with a nice synth sound that could be in a playboi carti/ yeat song but it is played in a nice relaxing progression. The drums are hard with a nice 808 and the programming/ pattern is hard.
You have a good rapping flow with some nice switch ups that keep the song unique and your rhyme scheme is stand out as well!
Sweet beat. I liked the track decently overall but I wasn't a huge fan of your delivery, it felt very lax compared to the beat and I feel as though if you added some energy to it it might help. The mixing was a bit weird sounding and was quiet on my speakers. Very nice tho!
The pen is nice and the chorus was nicer then i thought but u draaaaag tf out of it imo like i was tired of it by the end. I would of liked seeing you change the tone of your voice more through out not just at the end. Overall i think you get your point across man its chill.
bop or nahhh? i did not make the beat
https://soundcloud.com/mc\_r3b3l/rrqueen-prod-monkey-d
Hello, it looks like you've made a mistake.
It's supposed to be could've, should've, would've (short for could have, would have, should have), never could of, would of, should of.
Or you misspelled something, I ain't checking everything.
Beep boop - yes, I am a bot, don't botcriminate me.
Idk man , I guess I just really like backpacks! Anyway I like your track the transition from English to Spanish was good. I enjoyed the Spanish parts but there were a couple lines that need to be tightened up. Other than that it was a good song fasho! How long have you been rapping?
thank your for listening man. Been rapping for years but trying to do more then just boom bap so i been growing. this was one of my first efforts at a new sound. i always sit on my music an never put anything out so this is me putting more of my ish out because im constantly making new ish. Gracias for your time primo
I love the way you pitch shifted that repetitive chop (and I don’t mean repetitive in a bad way it has a lofi almost computer error esque quality to it that’s really fitting of an A$AP type beat) and the drum melody is great too. The only things that stuck out to me as even remotely worth touching up was the beat starting to get a little repetitive around the 1:40 mark (although the drums peeling back for the outro was a cool change of pace) and the sub bass melody could maybe be a little longer for some more variation. But really wow! This shit is dope.
my latest: https://open.spotify.com/track/0KFybmJkVxe7YzTmwL1VYr?si=nUAv_MjqS4qZSZYqGKva3w
this one’s more indie/alternative than anything, more hip hop oriented stuff coming soon
WILL RETURN ALL FEEDBACK
hey man, the mix is not great on this. The drums sound tinny and the sample sounds hollow. I also pretty quickly got bored of the loop. I like the chops, and I like the idea, but this felt a bit too simple to me
Beat feels very old-school. Very swampy, it definitely has this real grimy feel to it that makes it feel like real villainous music. The beat drop in the beginning was handled really well, but I wish that the instrumentation were a bit deeper. I think you should've layered more instruments on top of the guitar like maybe some brass or wood instruments. I like all the random beat-drop effects you did like the vinyl scratches
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
Trying to teach myself production so seriously roast the shit out of this experimental trip hop beat, no holds barred I appreciate any feedback anyone can give !
https://on.soundcloud.com/HvSkpyBriwQcegyb9
This beat is really nice! Right away I was pulled in from that melody, and the 808 drop only kept my interest. Strings coming in at 0:44 and build up that tension. The whole thing takes this industrial-noise feel and boils it down to something that feels like Experimental Trap Music (ETM haha). Very inventive and very unique sound
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
My lyric music video for my track YOU CLAIM YOU'RE HARD BUT YOU'RE AFRAID TO DRINK KOMBUCHA!
Feedback will be great and ill return all feedback!
https://youtu.be/wvpRs9u0mII
Not the Kombucha tho!! Haha I love this track. The visualizer is extremely funny and the vocals feel like that classic A$AP Mob/Raider Klan sound. The jungle-style drums are amazing, one of my favorite music styles and I wish it was more in use. I like it a lot when you allow your flow to speed up and get more aggressive! I like the raw energy you're pushing forward
Havent posted in too long. Will Return ALL feedback to the best of my ability.
I did not make the beat shout out (prod. monkey d)
New wave ive been on, What do yall think? Bop or nahh?
I really like the subject matter of this track. Feels like you're making personal music that comes from the soul and I respect that. I also like that it's bilingual, that opens up your target audience immensely. My main critique is that I think your vocals could use more compression and reverb to give it more of a professional feel. Volume wise it fits really well with the beat and the beat feels like a fun party track. Keep going!!
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
appreciate that man i do try an make authentic music over everything just trying to make it sound like a real groove now lol in the struggle but im tryna find a way. I peepd your track and left some feedback on your og comment lets keep grinding primo
I like this beat a lot. It feels very mischievous, and I'm really digging that melody you brought to the chorus. Can tell that you're style is really sly, I think some more clever punchline bars could've sold the style a bit more. Overall tho the way the mixing is on your voice feels like it fits in line with the beat and this back-alley aesthetic. Keep it up!!
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
Vibe on this is immaculate. Bass on this is real intense in the best ways. The beat feels very heavy and like it packs a lot of emotion but simultaneously has more of a drugged-out drown-the-pain vibe to it. Sounds like something from Future's Save Me EP. I think that the sound of loneliness really applies here, something about this track feels like it's screaming out for help. Props to you for packing so much emotion into the song
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
I listened to more of your tracks. The songs that I've heard are really quite good, the beats are dope and the lyrics slap. But there's one thing i would change, the flow on every song seems to be the same way. Don't get me wrong,it's still fire, but it'd be great if there was some variety.Maybe switch up the tempo or the rhyme scheme, so each track has a unique theme.
I released a song called talkyotalk with some close friends and collaborators this past Friday and would love any and all feedback! nenjavo is on the first verse, zsurrr is on the second verse, and I end the track with the third verse.
Hope y'all enjoy it!
Style reminds me a lot of Sean Price. I really like how simple the "talk yo talk" chorus is, that feels like classic hip-hop tracks where the hook isn't the main focus and it's more on the lyrics. Both artists had some real inventive wordplay and lyrics which I dig. I think the main critique is that there could've been more attention-grabbing bars. Things that make a listeners neck snap back to make sure they heard correctly. Mixing was really good, the song sounds professional and the beat has some real classic drums with a melody that feels like a psychedelic electronic trip
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
I like the energy! The delivery is on and off for some parts but I think you have a good voice for it. Beat sounds nice and you matched the emotion of it. Keep grinding bro
Here’s my track:
https://open.spotify.com/track/2GAI28nteM2vPSZU1Uke7i?si=021fb102a9e74298
I'm liking the island vibes on this one. This bass feels like 90s R&B music and it's got me hooked. The entire vibe on this track feels positive. I get themed dance party moods when I hear this, and it just feels like having fun with people you enjoy being around. Feels like dance hip-hop, I like what you're doing with this one
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
The piano on this is immaculate, once the vibes start kicking in at 1:17 really feels like it's taking an audio journey. Beat is well produced, I can't think of any critiques cause I think it does what it does really well. Mixing is great and the instrumentation feels though-out rather than sporadic
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
lemme know your opinion im constantly improving my [work](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqGti3KdIZA), i'll return the feedback if you link me your beats thank you :) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqGti3KdIZA)
Beat is very cheerful. Feels like a mix of trap hip-hop and acid-pop. Takes the general mood of hyperpop without the harsh instrumentation and feels a bit more lush with the melodies it uses. I like that the track feels well suited for both an R&B artist and a traditional rapper. The visuals work really well, and the bass on this beat is real fye
Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
this a good effort for your first man. You were spitting on this, i like all the flows on this you keep this live though out. Honestly you just gotta let some of your bars breathe let them shine sometime but yo you did your thing on this man for an all bars track i fucc with it
Heres mine, Vibe or nahh?
https://soundcloud.com/mc\_r3b3l/rrqueen-prod-monkey-d
The flows and lyrics are there! I think if you had some more emphasis on the delivery it’d be even crazier. Beat selection is nice too. You have potential bro, keep it up!
Here’s my track:

Thanks for the feedback!
I like the beat, and your voice is mixed well and it sounds good. I think the lyrics are good too, but it feels like you’re trying to stuff too many words in and the flow is comin off choppy. Just gotta keep workin at it, nice stuff
2nd flow is my fav very mac miller. you on point the way through highest point is the flows and on beat the lowest for me is the lyrics were more generic but i get it the braggdocouse cypher. Spitting like you dextsars laboratory at first man lol you can rap man that be evident pero what do you think of this tune?
https://soundcloud.com/mc\_r3b3l/rrqueen-prod-monkey-d
Thanks broski I really appreciate the feedback. Def not my preferred type of beat.
I like the beat. Lyrics are dope too. It sounds like you have good ideas, but the delivery needs work. The beginning sounds like you're reading, and it def got better but it sounds very messy. I had a hard time distinguishing between like a chorus/verse, def good moments throughout though. Just keep at it, keep practicing, you def got the tools.
Thank You for listening ! Yeah i feel what your saying was just sitting on this one forever i had to put it out to move on to the next one. pero holla if you ever have an idea to collab could be fun

you picked an up beat an it sound like your passion backing it on the vocal. Sound like some ol back pack rap. Nice flows and confidence. Chorus was kind of lacking imo, keep rocking cuz heres something un poco different [https://soundcloud.com/mc\_r3b3l/rrqueen-prod-monkey-d](https://soundcloud.com/mc_r3b3l/rrqueen-prod-monkey-d)
I expect quality u/singingly that's what I expect ;) \~0:40 is siick I love it and pretty aggressive tone through the track. Enjoy! [https://www.youtube.com/shorts/3kTsEqRn8gA](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/3kTsEqRn8gA)
Thank you. Lol, that's fair. I think someone Ooh.
Very unique sounding beat. Liked the drums as well as the overall atmosphere created. Nice work!
Appreciate it. Thank you. You got anything you want me to give a listen?

Has the algorithm on YouTube changed recently It feels like I just started getting some views last month, and suddenly everything just dipped, and now I came from 250 to 20 views? I think that my stuff got better, so I'm just a bit confused. I'm uploading once weekly - is that too little to get some traction? This is one of my latest ones: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C33cK\_G\_\_BY](https://youtu.be/XBrDqgOv9ik) Appreciate some wisdom!
That's some good advice
Just dropped a new song today: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces Tell me what you think about it!! Returning all feedback!!!
Gotta shoot the video fam Good energy and a catchy hook

Song is heat! Big fan of your work Astro. Love the atmosphere and i love the hook!
Much love to you KawaiiSteez!! I'm really liking your sounds too
The vocal production is really sick! It’s clear, stands out and really grabs your attention as a listener! I feel like the low end doesn’t really punch through the mix though, what’s there in that region is awesome, abit too in the backdrop
Thank you!! Really glad you enjoyed parts of it and I really appreciate your feedback
[https://on.soundcloud.com/an4XJ](https://on.soundcloud.com/an4XJ) talkyotalk off a collab project I dropped this past Friday.
High-ends on this were more quiet than on others. I was tweaking that last-minute before I released it
i wasn't really feeling the beat but you make it work. I like how you ride this one you stay in the groove on the verses. The chorus is prolly the weakest part for me but more so cuz it could use an effect or pitch shift or sum to keep it live n break it up but its not wack over all its a chill track man. The chorus grew on me by the end but still would want sum extra seasoning on it. good work man fuccs with it
Thank you for the honest feedback! That helps me grow
smthng nu 4 yall https://youtu.be/5J3RJhF_Pdg
Like the beat and you did a good job keeping it simple to focus on vocals while not sounding dry. Love the guitar layer as well! Mix sounds solid on my headphones too.
appreciate yo comment bless up 🙌🙌🙌🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
This was dope. Cool sounding beat, love whatever instrument/sound that is your using. Sounds like a guitar but with some sort of effect on it. And the twista verse over it is dope, nice mixing on here as well it all sounds clean. Here’s my latest, more alternative than hiphop but got more on the way: https://open.spotify.com/track/0KFybmJkVxe7YzTmwL1VYr?si=nUAv_MjqS4qZSZYqGKva3w
ayo i rlly fw this, hella vibey 🙌🙌 bless up brody this heat frl 🔥🔥🔥
Really impressed with how it feels contemporary yet rooted in the early 2000s sound Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
yooo damn this heat, kinda had a video game vibe with those notes sounding rlly cool and retro but it still has a kinda gothic atmosphere or sumn lol HEAT bro bless up🔥🙌🙏🏾🇯🇲
Much love to you!! Video game soundtracks are very inspiring to me
[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=keolhN3xxls](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=keolhN3xxls) choir chop beat I made, let me know what you think! thanks.
great beat! my only small critique would be that the intro, being rather upbeat tonally and in tempo, did not set my ears up for the slower tempo body. I like how it picks up at 1:09. the right rapper would kill that transition, though
Thank you for the feedback, I appreciate it!
Thank you for being honest!
nice flip man, love some of the fills and the beat switch is nasty. great job
Thanks for the feedback!
Spent way too long composing and chopping samples on this lol. Like 75 individual tracks not including drums all in all 😬 Lemme know what you think and I sincerely appreciate all the feedback in this group thus far. Yall are awesome🙏 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-jxsAT44U8
I was impressed with how details the melodies were but towards the end I was looking for a twist to add excitement Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
Appreciate ya G 🙏 I don't think the beats working on this one. What's your recording setup like if you don't mind me asking?
I use an Aston Spirit and a SE Sound Reflector
this is such a vibe! love it
Man all those intricate background layers are really cool and add a lot to this. It’s got a really nice, full, atmospheric feel. if you want to keep going with the mixes, would recommend trying to get on a local community radio station. it will help your reach and abilities. great mix btw also, 'themed' mixes go far, e.g. videogame OSTs. if you have a good radio personality (unlike me lol) you could also do commentary.
I appreciate that. I've been definitely trying to reach out to different radio stations
chill tape, my fav was still struggling with B.I.G, them drums was cold an feel like you fit his tone well. temptation was cool untill the singing was kinda off for me but Pac spitting was on point. Cool production man hows this sound? https://soundcloud.com/mc\_r3b3l/rrqueen-prod-monkey-d
This was cool. i definitely liked the beat, but i felt the flow was a little off at times. However, I do believe if you get the flow a little tighter, i think this track can be stronger Thanks for your feedback
thank you for listening!
No problem, but if you are interested, because i don't want to give feedback, with no real solution, i actually want to help artists get better if i can Here's a video that i think could help you with the flow https://youtu.be/_jzNOqTBSqA

Nah bro do what you do that's just the producer in me 😆
did a fun remix. looking for feedback specifically on the mix cause thats where i feel i struggle. the flp started out as an upbeat happy piano/guitar beat and kinda devolved after i added some filler vocals. dont ask me why i used this particular song. returning feedback [https://soundcloud.com/koaris/boys-a-liar-pt-2](https://soundcloud.com/koaris/boys-a-liar-pt-2)
Good remix, it feels more R&B influenced Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
I like your vocals a lot. I feel like the beat could be a bit more aggressive. I made a quick example of what I would type of beat I hear them on. https://soundcloud.com/koaris/idea Also this is just my opinion not tryna derail what image you are trying to create in your music.
Says the track was taken down? Do you want to send me a new link?

The singing sections are amazing! And then when those harps come in and it just feels like a sweet serenade, it hooks me in. Believe it or not, I could hear Drake or Kendrick on this. It has a ton of mainstream appeal and does jazzy hip-hop really well. I think that bass should've been one-octave lower in my honest opinion but I'm really impressed with what you have going. The choppy drum intro and then choppiness at the outro was a nice way to tie the whole thing together. This feels like a more melancholy version of No More Parties In LA Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
hi man, sorry for replying so late.
Much love to you!! Glad you like it
Well done, great sample and great structure.
Clean mix, no criticisms Here’s my recent https://on.soundcloud.com/TZhuaGvMyeYq9tvH9
That’s a great piece of feedback, thank you so much. Glad you liked Caskets too! I’m droppin every week or so.
i think the sample is too similiar to the og i would shift the pitch up an like if you could cut it up to be able to hear diff parts play through the verse. The melodies in this sound like there fighting eachother at times. I like that guitar you bring in i like a lot in here but it sounds like too much at times for me. i see what your trying to do and its solid man keep working. [https://soundcloud.com/mc\_r3b3l/rrqueen-prod-monkey-d](https://soundcloud.com/mc_r3b3l/rrqueen-prod-monkey-d) how this? bop or nahhhh?
0:25 - 0:37 it would be cool to make the vocals bigger, like the chorus on Mac Miller's "Self Care" 2:06-2:08 is not well sung, I would re-record or auto-tune a little I also noticed that the sounds of the letter "c" are pronounced in the track, this is more pronounced at 2:32-2:43.
I made this experimental chillhop beat and would appreciate any feedback: https://youtu.be/SU4njXQODxs Returning All Feedback!
Dope!! Yeah i love these kinda beats but been hard figuring out a good approach, glad you got into it. Thanks for the feedback and ups :)

Sweet beat. I liked the track decently overall but I wasn't a huge fan of your delivery, it felt very lax compared to the beat and I feel as though if you added some energy to it it might help. The mixing was a bit weird sounding and was quiet on my speakers. Very nice tho!
Thank you!! I made some tweaks, i think its a lot closer to how im envisioning it now.
Finally to the end! https://youtu.be/S2iylgvuHE4 The 18TH track off my album! Returning ALL feedback!
Really sick beat. Loved the pitch shifting on the keys. Vocals sounded really well delivered too! Not my style song but I still enjoyed it!
The pen is nice and the chorus was nicer then i thought but u draaaaag tf out of it imo like i was tired of it by the end. I would of liked seeing you change the tone of your voice more through out not just at the end. Overall i think you get your point across man its chill. bop or nahhh? i did not make the beat https://soundcloud.com/mc\_r3b3l/rrqueen-prod-monkey-d
This shit is dope.
title fits the vibe, way to convey a mood man. i like it.

hey man, the mix is not great on this. The drums sound tinny and the sample sounds hollow. I also pretty quickly got bored of the loop. I like the chops, and I like the idea, but this felt a bit too simple to me
Than you for listening!
I like all the random beat-drop effects you did like the vinyl scratches Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
Trying to teach myself production so seriously roast the shit out of this experimental trip hop beat, no holds barred I appreciate any feedback anyone can give ! https://on.soundcloud.com/HvSkpyBriwQcegyb9
Dude you need some vocals on this.
has a certain vibe for sure, and when the beat drops it starts to form a direction, albeit chaotic. cool stuff
This beat is really nice! Right away I was pulled in from that melody, and the 808 drop only kept my interest. Strings coming in at 0:44 and build up that tension. The whole thing takes this industrial-noise feel and boils it down to something that feels like Experimental Trap Music (ETM haha). Very inventive and very unique sound Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces

Thanks astro! You a real one glad you vibe with it! Definitely respect your craft so it means a lot 🙏

Props to you for packing so much emotion into the song Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
I hear what you're saying. Def heard critique on that and working to correct it
[https://on.soundcloud.com/an4XJ](https://on.soundcloud.com/an4XJ) I released a song called talkyotalk with some close friends and collaborators this past Friday and would love any and all feedback! nenjavo is on the first verse, zsurrr is on the second verse, and I end the track with the third verse.
Mixing was really good, the song sounds professional and the beat has some real classic drums with a melody that feels like a psychedelic electronic trip Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
hey guys, what do you think about my recent? https://youtu.be/RLxwUEbEcu4 i would love to have your feedback! Returning all feedback

I'm liking the island vibes on this one. This bass feels like 90s R&B music and it's got me hooked. The entire vibe on this track feels positive. I get themed dance party moods when I hear this, and it just feels like having fun with people you enjoy being around. Feels like dance hip-hop, I like what you're doing with this one Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
Hey guys, I'd love to get some feedback on this one: https://soundcloud.com/ocavalca/hooktook
The piano on this is immaculate, once the vibes start kicking in at 1:17 really feels like it's taking an audio journey. Beat is well produced, I can't think of any critiques cause I think it does what it does really well. Mixing is great and the instrumentation feels though-out rather than sporadic Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces

The visuals work really well, and the bass on this beat is real fye Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces
