my latest upload, i have been working on making beats develop better as they go lately so let me know how you think i did. i appreciate any feedback or listen https://on.soundcloud.com/VyswpcsWj2K7eJj79

Mulamb0

wOOO bro what a vibe u created with this one, really dope. I would take a better look at the bass and the drum sound selection. Besides that veeery good job. I loved the unique vibe it provides. Shhh later when the rest of the drum drops is craaaaazy Lmk what u think, https://youtu.be/Pn0GJ80dmBE

lilskittlez2020

i like the way you brought the hi-hats in and then how you took them out for a bit to come back with a new pattern. that 808 goes hard how did you get it to punch like that?

This was good dude! Would it be cool if I sent you a private message?

DlackBick

Got to love the cover art!! Thugnificent on the Will.i.am track haha. I'm really digging the harsh style of lyrics and how ill & old-school the beat feels. Very unapologetic style, right off the bat the lyrics hook you in with the grittiness Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces

Onitaro

Hey everyone, I'm really excited to finally be uploading my THIRD song from my Waves EP, Waves, the EP's namesake. Hope you guys like it! **Returning All Feedback!** [https://soundcloud.com/onitaro/waves](https://soundcloud.com/onitaro/waves)

judohampe

Love this! an incredible vibe! The beat and your flow fits so well together. No feedback, but i give you a follow❗️

Onitaro

hey thanks so much Judo! I threw you a follow as well! This track is dope my man! Really love the vibes. I do feel like it could use a bit more structure however. Like adding an intro and a chorus cause right now it feels like a lot of verse. Really love that sax sample you have in there damn. Overall this is a really chill track and I can totally see someone spitting over it. It'd be even doper if there was a bit more structure. Keep up the great work my man!

judohampe

Thanks for the feedback man! I think i might goin to rearrange it more like you said!

BeatMakerMorrow

that was a really cool song. the vocals sounded a little to open for my personal taste but it was still really great and cant wait to hear more.

Onitaro

hey thanks so much my man! I thought your track was really chill. Love the vibes you have going on. I don't have much critique, cool use of samples and the mix is pretty solid, I'd maybe add a bit more low end but thats it. Great work my man!

BeatMakerMorrow

Oh wow thank you! I really appreciate that I can't wait to hear more from you homie

mcAlt009

Feels a lot like Eyedea, in fact I'm going to listen to some Eyedea after this. Your beat selection is perfect, the beat matches your mood and flow. I think I'll listen to the rest your EP now, keep up the good work. Starlight is nice too

Onitaro

Hey thanks for the love my man! I'm releasing one song every 2-3 weeks for my EP so I have two more tracks to release after this one! I really dig your use of sample work. I think the beat is a little simplistic feeling, felt a bit too drum machiney. But the interesting vox samples definitely brought the track up a notch. Keep it up my man!

DlackBick

Really dope track! Takes me back to 2015 for some reason, I like that the track does a great job of feeling light-hearted

Ethnic/Epic Vocal Type Beat I guess hahah, slight experimental. Lmk what u think [https://youtu.be/Pn0GJ80dmBE](https://youtu.be/Pn0GJ80dmBE) RETURNING ALL FEEDBACKS

The_Lab_Monster

\[PROS\]: \-- Right off the bat: atmosphere. I think this beat has nailed the atmopshere side of things very well. Whether intentional or not, you have captured a nice "haunting" feeling. Not in an anxiety-ridden way, but almost in a surreal way. Like how haunting a wind howl can feel in an open field with moving trees as opposed to poltergeists and shit. Kind of in a beautiful way, you know? \-- I like the sample. I'm a sucker for samples. It sounds familiar too. Was this through a splice pack or something? Or did you dig up an old record? \-- The tempo suits the beat and sound selection well. It being slow adds to the "haze" of it. Nice waves. \-- The mix is enjoyable. \-- The dynamic elements of the song adds character. I especially liked the bloops. \[CONS\]: \-- Althought I do genuinely like the mix of the whole song, like the snare, it does all sound a little flat. My tip would be slight saturation on different elements with varying degrees. EQ helps too, and it might pay to give it a once-over again to make certain things cut through nicer, but like I said: I like the mix. This would be my way of bringing out colour to an already enjoyable mix without changing too much. Even a slight EQ after that fact can help quite a bit, but I'll leave that up to you. If you could return feedback, my post link is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/makinghiphop/comments/121ba8z/comment/jdlp1p5/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3

Mulamb0

I've took your tips about the last one. Can u give me a feedback about the mix on this one? If its hitting better. https://youtu.be/pw2OeGRqCXs

The_Lab_Monster

Yeah, it hits way harder/better! Unfortunately I've left my headphones at a friend's house so I wasn't able to check the fine details on them, my bad! But it knocks really well on my soundbar, man. Mix is really clean too. Good job and keep doing your thing, man. My bad for late reply too, lol. Life busy and don't usually check reddit.

Deathmetalbastard

I really like ethnic beats, wish their were more of them about. Nice atmosphere, i like her voice, perhaps her voice could have been louder in parts as the kick can sometimes hide her voice but thats just nitpicking really, well done on a solid track. Made an experimental one myself which i released on my EP today, has an ethnic vibe towards the end to :) https://innocentfool.bandcamp.com/track/mirror-mirror

Broooo this track is insane shiiiiit, I loved that bass and all the vibe Jesus. I like a lot these experimental ones also. The way it ended was inteeeense also, good work bro!

zirali_

What's good? This is my second single I'm dropping in a few weeks. It's a personal kinda feel, tried to keep it chill but bouncy, lemme know any thoughts! Returning all feedback Love! Z [KIT3S](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CxZYEbeuMppwVVCw0t9HQGbJemsNhCzD/view?usp=drivesdk)

The_Lab_Monster

Mix really shines. Every aspect of it really cuts through nicely! The vocals are clean and nicely "upfront", the vocal stacks and harmonies work well. Flow is good. "Chill and bouncy" is a good way to describe it. I'm not sure which aspect of this song you personally contributed to, but I do also want to give a shout out to the beat. I like how the sample(?) was chopped up and arranged. The beat switch at the end was really cool too. Gives the song a unique and original outro. Big fan of custom intros/outros. This whole song really just screams individuality. Good job, Jason Flowhees! If you could return feedback, my post link is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/makinghiphop/comments/121ba8z/comment/jdlp1p5/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3

zirali_

Really appreciate that feedback man. I agree, the beat is phenomenal and was produced by WONDERLUST, the lyrics, vocals, mix and master were all done by me and so was the chopped and scratched outro so thank you for your kind words on that. As for yours, I really like the vibe you went for; taking the grittiness of the beat and doubling down on it with the lyrics and vocals. I also really liked the subtleties of your mix with the delays and harmonized adlibs(?) tucked under the lead vocal and supporting it without taking away attention. I also don't normally like long outros but the beat did a good job holding attention with the subtle vocals in the back. My only criticism if I'm absolutely nitpicking is the flow kinda feels more or less the same throughout and my ears were wanting a switch-up with the drop, but that could just be a stylistic choice to emphasize the lyrics. Overall I return individuality remark you gave me, definitely stands out as a fresh track and you should be very proud of it. Great job!

The_Lab_Monster

WONDERLUST. Good name, deffs have to keep an ear out. Yeah, there is another vocal take underneath the main. Used 2 different mics too (friend was in the intro and outro using his own mic as well, because I wanted to capture different sonics). Rode NT1-A for the up-close monotone vocals and an sE8 for the more emotive bg vocals. Not a good mic for vocals up close, but works well for choirs so I figured I'd stand further away and belt emotive rap while trying to capture some room reverb for effect. The soundwave seemed to agree too, lol :P. Fuck all transient spikes compared to up-close. As for the flow remark, I take it in stride. I'm still yet to fully develop in that regard (in the sense of vocal differences rather than monotone vs. emotive), but keen to keep improving. It was also a thought I had prior to releasing, but not releasing is worse than releasing and I didn't want to overthink the upload. I'm just going to be focusing on singles for now while I build up an even better foundation and consistency, and then it is mixtape time! Once again, thank you for your honest feedback. Keep hustling, my guy!

zirali_

Damn you can definitely tell the love that went into making this track with all the effort bro. Keep grinding bro your not far off, and I agree, def need to keep releasing to get better. This track was the second one I ever made and I sat on it for so long. I've got more shit that I feel is leagues better but I'm getting the backlog out the way and building up to the good stuff lol. Good luck fam!

MC_R3b3L

Sounds like you put some real effort and feel behind this man. Wasnt feeling it at first but you pick up steam and have some nice flows in there man. Fucc with the vibe and subject you pushing. chorus grew on me but idk if you needed the last verse. Good work man outro was fun but un poco long. Keep cooking primo this had some heat [https://soundcloud.com/mc\_r3b3l/vida-of-a-mexican-prod-justdan](https://soundcloud.com/mc_r3b3l/vida-of-a-mexican-prod-justdan) how does this sit with you?

zirali_

Appreciate your thoughts on it bro! This was the second full song I ever wrote and the beat had space for three verses, didn't want to take any shortcuts at that point so I wrote to the whole thing lmao. Kinda agree on the outro, it felt even longer before I chopped and re-arranged it but it's mostly just there as a bonus lil easter egg. As for your track, I think it's got HEAPS of potential bro. I really like the vibe you created with the smooth flows and the tone of your voice feels perfect for it. I like the switch ups as well and thought your delivery was laid back but confident. I can't speak much for the lyrical content cuz I don't really understand Spanish but from what I did understand I liked, but more importantly it SOUNDED good to my ears so that kinda transcends the language barrier. A couple notes tho, your vocals overpower the beat in the mix and at times it feels they jump out a little more and get tucked in some other places, try adding more to the threshold of your compressor to even it out a bit more or add another compressor altogether. Also I really like your singing but I feel it would still benefit from a touch of auto tune, some notes feel the tiniest bit jarring. However, I reckon try getting the vocal and beat to sit together a bit better first cuz that might solve the jarring notes by itself. Overall Musically great, just a few technical touch ups here and there. But definitely a track thats worth the time and effort! Great job bro, keep it up! Sidenote: I fw the beat selection, justdan got some quality stuff! I've written to a couple of his beats too lmao

MC_R3b3L

thank you for listening! appreciate you taking the time and yeeeah i sat on this one for soo long im glad it ended up a vibe but really thank you man it means a lot Gracias for the time

DlackBick

This beat is really dope, I get J Cole x Lil Baby vibes listening to it. The sampled vocals feel like success, and the layered melodic vocals sounded simply amazing. The flow switch-up at 1:20 was really nice, like the way that you effortlessly add in new unique vocal elements in the midst of your verse. Makes the track feel way more dynamic and authentic Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces

zirali_

Really appreciate that feedback mbro 🙏 Off the bat the energy u bring on ur track is amazing, can get the vibe of the song without wasting a second. The delivery is phenomenal and does well establishing bravado which ties back in well with the braggadocio themes of the song. The hook is catchy and fun to sing along to. The beat plays more of a supporting role to ur vocals which isn't a bad thing in this case at all, in fact I quite like that nothing is taking away from the bars cuz boi u be dropping some! My only critique would be that although the flow your using is great it does feel a bit aged by the end of the song. Would've been cool to hear u switch it up a bit. That's me being nitpicky, overall a great track and you got some solid skills. Really surprised by how many dope tracks I've heard from these feedback submissions. Great job!

DlackBick

Thanks! I've heard some critiques on that, def trying to improve it for future releases

Tweaked the mix a bit - [Heavenly Father](https://on.soundcloud.com/C4mQCyNdbCMqZxb46) Returning all feedback!

The_Lab_Monster

\[PROS\]: \-- You have a good flow. Had my head bobbing the whole time. \-- Your lyrics are good too. Not really much to add on to that, it just seems that you take this aspect of writing just as serious as everything else. \-- Your vocal inflections and performance is really good too. It's what makes this as catchy as it already is. With your flow, lyrics, and performance being good, it makes you ride the beat nicely. Feels like everything is working well in unison. \[CONS\]: \-- Sounds more like a demo. Bit rough around the edges, but has big potential to pop if looked over. \-- Vocal mix itself isn't too bad for me in terms of aesthetics, but could cut through a bit better. Either slight EQ boost at around 200Hz for a bit of warmth and around 1-3k for vocal presence or slight volume increase. Maybe both? \-- Beat is simple. Not too bad, but sounds a bit uninspired. IMO, could either be fixed by a few more elements or going back to my previous point about the song sounding like a demo. Maybe a clean up is all that's needed. Good shit, man. This was catchy. Keep it up. If you could return feedback, my post link is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/makinghiphop/comments/121ba8z/comment/jdlp1p5/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3

thepro7864

Really appreciate the specific feedback! Definitely gonna keep all this in mind and keep tweaking. I was hyped off the JoJo reference and liked a lot of the bars. Beat switch up was engaging too and I like the overall dynamics. One thing I think that would really help this track is upping the tempo on the vocal delivery. The slow cadence is cool at first, but it begins to feel monotonous after a while. The ideas on the bars are great and having a more thorough description with more syllables per line is one way to go about this if you’re open to the change.

The_Lab_Monster

Nice reference catch, but I'm a hypocrite :(. I've only read book 1 and 2, LOL. The scans for Stardust Crusaders were ASS some years ago, so it's been a while since I read it. I decided to leave it for when scans are better, but then they got better and I'm still not reading it, lol. Ah well, we procrastinate in this mf. As for the vocal delivery, all valid points. Thanks for the listen, my man! Keep doing ya thing.

REiVibes

This is pretty dope. I do agree with the other commented that it is just a bit hard to hear what you’re saying, though I heard most of it and thought the lyrics were pretty good. I like the processing on your vocals too, just think it needs to be a tad louder. Nice work! Here’s mine: https://open.spotify.com/track/0KFybmJkVxe7YzTmwL1VYr?si=usdmu-lsSHuDyPNoux17gw

thepro7864

Ty! Good to know I got something specific I can work on. I think I reviewed this track before and the same critiques coming to mind. I’m not sure if this was a stylistic choice, but the vocals seem to get quieter at some portions of the track and get a bit drowned out by the instrumental. I’m listening on AirPods rather than my desktop computers this time around and am noticing the same thing. The guitar’s actually super entrancing. If that and the vox could be balanced out, that’d be dope!

[deleted]

[удалено]

thepro7864

Appreciate it! Def still working on it. Waves Tune’s on but the speeds super low. Sounds like the harmonies and are making the vox more muddy than intended too. I like the intro and wide selection of sampling. This sounds more like an interlude or intro than a full song though? Wish it was lengthier or had more coming from the vocal aspect of things.

The_Lab_Monster

>My first attempt of a slowed down song. Lmk how you feel about it and any feedback/support is appreciated. Okay, I've listened to your song and have a few pros and cons (not really cons, just points of improvement IMO, you know?). \[CONS\]: \-- I like the melodies you've got going on, but they are a bit too mono for me. I think the song would come to life more if the different melodic elements were panned slightly. In which direction is up to you. It'll just make the beat sound more "full", you know? \-- There seems to be quite a bit of low-end rumble with the 808s. The "tone" of it, per se, doesn't sound bad, but I think applying a low pass filter somewhere around 50Hz would be a good starting point. It'll let you keep the thump of the bass depending on how much dB per octave you drop it by whilst also helping you remove the muddiness within it. \-- I think your drums sound crisp enough, but they are a little too dry for me. Not a bad thing at all, but I feel like if you make it a bit more wet with reverb -- but keep the predelay and room size low -- then apply a soft saturator, that would really help them shine. Then you control the volume of the plugin itself and find a nice middle ground. \[PROS\]: \-- The mix itself isn't bad. Few areas to clean up, but this is a good showcasing so far. \-- The vibe is good and tempo matches it. Vibes are a big thing for me. Used to really love technical shit -- and still do in appropriate situations -- but now, give me a simple, vibey loop and I'm hooked. I can see myself smoking and relaxing to this, helping me turn my brain off while I multitask some other activity I like. Good shit, man! Keep it up.

RETSOFbeats

This is very good. A very chilled out sound in my opinion. I took the liberty of listening to the origin, which is also a good sounding track. You definitely did good here.

yo the vibe is right I see where u goin with this. Mixin and sound selection, put focus on quality drums and sounds and dont overdo your mixes right away, you can do a lot on gain staging and eq. The cowbell might be in wrong key too, make sure everything is in key, theres a lot of keyfinder tools u can use if you dont know music theory well.

It’s a nice song, I feel like the beat is very wavy and your flow gives heavy gunna vibes. I feel like the vocals are a bit muddy on the EQ but I’m just listening on my phone speakers. Here’s mine, just a quick chill lil rap I recorded https://on.soundcloud.com/7Q1xgfwHgKS3GpEh9

The_Lab_Monster

>Would appreciate feedback on what you think of the song so far overall and on the mix. I don't really have anything bad to say, to be honest. The song is good. Not super into this kind of genre so I won't go overboard with my feedback here as I feel I wouldn't do it justice. Your voice sounds good and glides with the beat nicely. The mix is great tbh, from the 808 to the clinking of glass at the start to your vocals. It's a vibey piano melody. Again, don't have much to critique on. Good job, man. \[EDIT\]: Forgot to add that it is a very clean mix also! Sounds good on my headphones and externals. carreerModeDude

The vocals need a lot more work on the mixing side of things. But creativity and sound wise everything is good. Vocals need to be louder, EQ out some bass in the voice, compress so that the volume is more stable throughout the entirety of the track.

DlackBick

Style here is really dope, but track is at a criminally short-length. Feels like a more emotive version of Nav, the "dreaming" refrain is nice, and you had a very consistent delivery and rhyme scheme throughout. If this is a demo, I'm very interested in the full-length

Inner-Beat-4647

Ty dude for the feedback. i think so too that the 808 takes too much space, ill look into that. For your beat i dont hear anything being mixed baldy. On the other hand i have been making beats for 5 month so hearing is not that good on the mixing site :D overall really liked the song. Keep on grinding

CommercialDry1800

love this beat, the dark sample and melody are crazy and generally the sound selection is really hard, i like the 808 with those crazy slides a lot, although at certain points it stands out a bit too much, covering up the rest, as at certain points the rest is nearly inaudbile due to it getting too much in the foreground, that's the only remark, for the rest, very solid beat, lookin forward for more! my latest beat https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWJZuzCCcrg

Inner-Beat-4647

Ty dude, i appriciate! ill defenitily look into that 808. Your beat has really nice dark vibe to it. I like it nothing to critique. Keep on working those beats!

This is kinda unique texture wise, though I think a contrast in modern sounds and old school sounds would hit a lil harder and give it a twist. Good job anyway. https://youtu.be/B9iDLDJYkiM Here's mine

Still getting around to reviewing tracks, just figured I'd post as well and forget about it going forward. Made this track a little while ago, but officially released it today. Been taking the engineering side more seriously as of late and have finally found a good starting point to jump off and establish an artistic rebranding around. [https://soundcloud.com/dullsk/phantom-mono-the-reverse-mountain-theory](https://soundcloud.com/dullsk/phantom-mono-the-reverse-mountain-theory) Lyrics in the description too, if anyone wants them. Would love feedback on anything and everything (everything was made by me from the lyrics to beat to mixing, etc.), but I do have some points I'd like looked at too: \-- The overall "mix". I'm happy with it, so this is more of a second opinion kind of thing. Would like to know personal thoughts and how the song as a whole sounds through various speakers. \-- The overall "master". Probably know the least about this as far as music making goes, so go wild. The more feedback here, the better. \-- The beat and what people personally feel about it. Please, don't be shy to go into as much detail as you would like. Returning all feedback. Thank you.

Mulamb0

Bro thanks a lot for ur answer. Ur work is super dope also. Liked a lot the beat, the vibe and the vocals. Open doors when I'm microdosing it rss Jesussssss these lines, really good bro lol. The beat dropped really good also. Everything is perfect, theres just something about the vocal mix I would change a bit, but Idk exactly what it is ahahehae, maybe a little more high end idk, it may be personal taste and this is a detail. All this work is pettryyyy solid Jesus that beat ending reminded me of Pink Floyd auiehuaeueah

The_Lab_Monster

Haha. Thanks for the enthusiasm!

The_Lab_Monster

Thanks, man! I also agree that the vocals could be a bit more "snug", so to speak, but I decided to not overthink it. I was genuinely happy with the mix. If I decided to nitpick and fix little issues and the song turned out worse/different, my ADHD brain would have scrapped the shit out of this song, haha. But I do agree with you there.

DlackBick

Stardust Crusader bar was ill. The mood on this is ill, it has a real heaviness to it that feels like it's a more poetic variant of rap. Feels very Pink Floyd-esque in the way that the outro is set up. Legit feels like something right out of Dark Side of the Moon. I think that your vocal mix & master could absolutely be better. Those feel a bit rough around the edges. I like the beat from a musical perspective but I think you could've added in melody switch-ups so that it feels less one-note Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces

The_Lab_Monster

Thanks, man. Vocal mixing and mastering is a process, I'll keep chipping away before releasing a mixtape. Wanna get a good foundation and more of a clearer vision. I'll also take being something akin to Pink Floyd any day of the week, lol. Big into moods and feels and vibes and whatnot, and I like your poetic rap comparison. Would say lyrics are a big part of me. I listened to yours as well. Big vibe. Can't really fault it tbh. Personal note would be something like not usually listening to this type of music on the regular, but that's just that. I love the hook too. I can't quite put the melody to words, like the beat's I mean. When you came in and because it was filtered(?), it gave off a very nostalgic vibe, but then when everything was reintroduced I lost a feeling. Not bad, just an interesting beat. Always good to hear something fresh. Did you produce yours?

DlackBick

Thank you for checking it out! I'm glad you liked the chorus, and yeah, I did the beat

DlackBick

I'm loving this style of track; feels like I'm listening to glitch-hop. The electronic elements are deployed in a very inventive way here, the computerized sounds that stand-in for drums, the epic nature pad, real great use of music theory going on in this beat. And your Soundcloud show's you're extremely prolific too. This is awesome Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces

thisissofar

I actually don't know much about music theory, thanks a lot for the feedback. Your music is really cool and perhaps more suited to this sub, solid and crisp production. Dropped a like and followed you. I Just made this too; [https://soundcloud.com/n2pc/if-i-let-you](https://soundcloud.com/n2pc/if-i-let-you) if you want to listen :)

DlackBick

Glad you liked what you heard! I really like the psychedelic quality of this one. The sampled voices feel like they're lifted from a dubstep song but the style feels much more modern. Great fusion of hip-hop elements, in particular the drums. Definitely love how fast-paced the rhythm is on this one

BeatMakerMorrow

homie that shits pretty fire! I love how the bass feels in my ear. great stuff keep at it bro

zirali_

Yo that's a sick fucking beat for real my brother, the energy is crazy! Sounds like it's clipping a little bit tho? Or did you just boost the saturation to mad levels? Lmao Here's mine if you got a few mins: https://www.reddit.com/r/makinghiphop/comments/121ba8z/official_daily_feedback_thread/jdl813m?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3

DlackBick

What's the inspiration on the drum pattern? I really like that fast-paced sound, something about it always feels like retro music (90s/early 2000s) when I hear it. Bass kick is cool, snare feels like it's being played live. Really like how a few months ago you started either mixing your guitars to be less harsh or playing less harsh patterns but I'm liking how this guitar pattern mixes with your drums & bass. Definitely feels like a hit City Morgue track in waiting Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces

Deathmetalbastard

Yeah this is my kinda thing. Hits heavy and mixed very well. I bet you could get some sweet ass lyrics on it :) Kinda reminds me of my new tune. Maybe not as heavy but close, mix ain't great but my first try so will only improve :) https://innocentfool.bandcamp.com/track/smiley

Simon_WilsonAyer

Dude this is sick as fuck. I love the message. I love the beat. I love this shit. What I’d do is just make the voice effects on the hook and make the verse your normal voice https://on.soundcloud.com/BtRMPvA4FvMUNovC9

DlackBick

This track is real dope. I like all the different vocal effects in the track. The delivery on the chorus is cool too, it's got a nice Southern drawl to it, and the rapid switch-up at 2:00 was unexpected but welcome. "They told me I should've died already.. Of course I'm gon get more, look what I got already", this one is really dope. Feels like two really hard songs for the price of one Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces

Strooble

https://soundcloud.com/kane_beats/soul Going for a soulful sound with some simple drums. Any feedback would be great. Currently very early demo and I feel like the bassline here could just go and this track would survive being drums+sample only Will return all feedback.

DlackBick

Very ambient track, love the way that the entire beat feels like neutral sounds being manipulated to form a really dope groove. The 808 is the most aggressive element, while the rest feels like it skates a long. I also like the vinyl scratch elements, adds some old-school feel Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces

BeatMakerMorrow

I really appreciate that homie. Black Jack Aces is pretty tight. The beats pretty cool and it's nice hearing you improve since I last heard from you months ago. Keep up with the fire homie

I have just released my third beat and I am looking for negative/constructive feedback on it. Ill return all feedback! https://on.soundcloud.com/HxpWNi3PdN9uwdTv7

dctothaa

I think this could definitely use some more variation. I know you have elements come in and out as the song progresses, but maybe have them come in earlier or change it up quicker before things get stale.

AHerdOfGoats

I hate whatever that triangle/glass sound you have attached to the kick, like the other commenter pointed out it gets really really repetitive fast. I’d try to eq that sound out to make it less in your face if you wanted to keep it, but the biggest thing I’d say is to add some variation to the velocity/sound of the kick. You have a very percussion oriented beat but the percussion is too synthetic (not live drums) so it doesn’t work out too well. Me personally, I’ll have two separate kick tracks where one is lower in volume or Eq’d differently or warped so it’s longer, etc, so there’s some variation in the kick, or just use two different ones entirely. I actually liked the hook/melody part where you add in that interesting little melody, I get like the beat started to make sense at that point but it took a while to get to it. Hope that helps. Here’s mine, just a short n sweet lil rap I made, working on mixing my own vocals so feedback on that helps https://on.soundcloud.com/7Q1xgfwHgKS3GpEh9

RETSOFbeats

Thank you for the feedback. I appreciate the honesty, and I myself have actually grown to hate that sound too. I wanted to try it out but it didn’t sound as id hoped. I like what you did. You have a very good voice, and I enjoyed your flow. You sort of used different tones of voice I feel like at different points and I felt that that added a nice touch to the song. If I had one criticism, id make your voice a little louder. The beat sounds great but it can still sound great at a lower volume, and your voice will be more clear, which I think the song could benefit from.

AHerdOfGoats

Hey man, of course!! For only your third beat in you’re killing it! Appreciate the honesty

dctothaa

https://soundcloud.com/dctothaa/crystal_plumage First beat I’ve made in close to four years. Did something different and didn’t sample anything outside the drums. Still tried to retain a gritty feel. Will return all feedback

Home-Civil

Eminem X Dr Dre type beat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=it-LL51JFNY

OpportunityFit9122

Simple and vibe is right. Id maybe make some drum and bass changes for ear pleasure. And I hear some counter melody for hook because that piano melody is pretty simple and it gets repetitive. Solid beat keep pushin bro.

Ye Im from Europe as well... just read more and find new words and talk in English more to get the pronounciation down... I commend the effort if we're talking the vibe and flow but damn you really need to work on your lyrics man.

Besides that, please feel free to critic I will not hate you.

AHerdOfGoats

recorded a quick lil rap to this YouTube beat, kinda got a earl feel from it personally. Working on my first tape right now so any feedback would be appreciated, trying to mix myself better https://on.soundcloud.com/ccoFdE6uL9Mbmm1QA Returning ALL feedback ALL day long hit me with your links

DlackBick

The style here is really cool. Reminds me a lot of a Mac Miller song, the lyrics don't take itself too seriously and you give off a cool, laid-back vibe throughout the track. Beat is real nice and feels like The Alchemist, this hits like an Intro track to a mixtape and I think it is a good demonstration of your skill Lmk what you think: https://soundcloud.com/astrorockit/blackjack-aces

AHerdOfGoats

I like this because it feels so originally you. Doesn’t really remind me of any other rappers and it’s good production on top of that. I felt like the hook went on for too long with how short and repetitive it was but after that I feel like the second verse you caught your stride. Appreciate the feedback bro!!

DlackBick

That's dope!! I'm really glad you're noticing my style haha, def working on making it less repetitive
