Wine: 2021 Fallon Place Pinot Noir- Russian River Valley- Whitegate Vineyard
Alcohol: 13.5%
Yield: 90 cases produced
Other facts: Martini clone Pinot Noir
Nose: Detect cherry notes as per usual with RRV pinot noirs but also has a decent amount of earthiness. Not quite barnyard funk but it many ways reminds of a Willamette PN.
Taste: Tastes a bit of fruit mainly cherry but also earthiness too. Maybe of a hint of spice but is more noticeable on the way down. Less spicy than some other RRV Pinots I have had. This pinot takes the best parts of RRV (Cherry fruit flavor) and pairs with the old world style/Willamette style (Earthy). Has decent acidity and tannin structure to hold it all together. Very good wine.
This is a small winery in Sonoma that I visited back last year and I was blew away by their Pinots and Chardonnays. I liked Fallon Place as much as I did Dutton-Goldfield.

I also enjoyed it. Their Zinfandel is tasty too
I had one of their zinfandels one time but I don't think they produce Zins anymore.
I still have one more of the 15 in the cellar. I should open it soon
